Bill Ferris writes... When I made this film in the late 60s, I transferred the sound track from my original analogue reel to reel taped recordings to a magnetic film strip on super-8 films. This is why the sound track is so poor on this version. If we were able to go back and do a transfer from the original recordings to the film today, the sound would be dramatically clearer.

(Sermon)

We read the second coming of the Lord is when Christ comes back to this earth.

His first appearing was when he spent 33 years upon this earth as a carpenterís son,

As Godís son as he stood upon this earth.

Then he was taken away.

God gave him a glorified body.

As he sits at the right hand of the Father tonight.

But I am looking tonight not for the Second Coming.

But I am looking for the Rapture of the Church.

Because the 24th chapter of Matthew says that two shall be grinding at the mill.

One shall be taken.

One shall be left.

Two shall be live.

And one dead.

One shall be taken.

And One shall be left.

The day that Christ shall arise

And those that remain alive

Shall be call from the earth

And shall meet with the Lord

And shall forever be with him.

This is what I am looking for.

This is the Rapture of the Spirit

The time has come

That the Baptists, the Methodists, the Presbyterians

When God strikes

What has been born again

By the power and the spirit of God

By the blood of Jesus Christ

This is the Church that he is looking for

Oh, Iím want to tell you a story

That I want you to hear

Itís about King Jesus was hung on high

And I heard him when he cried

With a sword in his side

And just before he left for his home on high

Want to tell you

They took my Lord and let him on down

They wrapped him in a red robe

And swaddling clothes

Said look here, Judas, what you done done

You done sold out my Lord

But thatís all right

They tell my Judas throwed away that silver

And hung himself

Iím holding Godís hand

And about that man Jesus

I never have seen

They took my Lord and laid him on down

They wrapped him in a red robe

And swaddling clothes.
