With most of her quilts involving horse and chicken designs, Susanna Calderon explains that she was a typical young girl in love with horses and that has carried over into her adult life. Susanna is passionate about quilting, taking her projects everywhere she goes and finding it creates a bridge with people who may not necessarily share similar interests. Susanna tries to spend as much time as possible in her studio "playing" with fabric and creating her playful designs.
She is the only one of the seven quilters that we have lost touch with during the past twenty years. We hope she continues to quilt, probably somewhere near her old home on the Northern California Coast. We appreciate any efforts to help us locate her and update information on her life and work.
