A Note from Sharon Sherman the filmmaker...At the funeral. articles about the film were posted on a big board and the eulogy included the film as one of the major accomplishments in her life. I believe that she and the family liked the film very much. We appeared on talk shows and received tremendous publicity, so much so that she was booked up for a very long time afterwards The initial screening was so crowded we had to show the film twice because people couldn't get in the door. I recall one Thanksgiving when we rented a 16mm projector and showed the film to a large gathering of the family at the Ware house. Kathleen worked on quilts until her death.
