The Ciro Guillotine splice is not a good tool to use with shrunken film. Bob Brodsky shows how the fixed perforation/registration pins on the Ciro Guillotine tape splicer can only accommodate new film, un-shrunken film. A better option is Rivas splicer with adjustable pins. Second part of a 3 part series on splicing leader on a shunken 16mm film.
