Bob Brodsky uses a demagnetizing tool to insure that his steel razor will not make pops on audio. It is important to be careful not to demagnetize rolls of audio tape so this procedure should only be done away from any rolls or cassettes of audio tape. A hand held demagnetizer is available from http://www.zinaenterprises.com/accessories.htm
