Water-soaked 35mm polyester film

Mick Newnham shows water damage on a short tightly wound 35mm film on a plastic core. The film has be soaking for about three hours with little damage to the image area. Mick's demonstration was part of a disaster recovery workshop sponsored by the Association of Moving Image Archivists in Rochester, NY 2007. Mick Newnham is a senior archivist at the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia.
