Filmmakers

Geoff Adams is a filmmaker, videographer, editor, and composer based in Rhode Island. He received a BFA in Film, Video & Animation from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in 1983 and began working independently in film and video production in 1986. From 1994 until his retirement in 2024, Adams created live-action, unscripted videos for WGBH, primarily working with children on material for PBS programs including Arthur, Curious George, and Design Squad. He also taught video and sound as an adjunct instructor at RISD from 1996 to 2003. His film Something Gotta Be Arranged is preserved on Folkstreams.
