Victor Bouveron

Victor Bouvéron is a French writer, radio DJ and filmmaker. He produced a blues radio program for ten years and has published many articles on African American music, in France, in the United States and in Canada (Blues Magazine, ABS Magazine, NC Folklore Journal, L’Express du Pacifique). In 2017, he received his Master’s degree in Folklore at UNC-Chapel Hill with Prof. William Ferris/ Following his graduation, he wrote and co-produced his first documentary film, “The Rhumba Boogie of Uganda.”
