Dillon Bustin |
Dillon Bustin is a folklorist, writer, filmmaker, playwright, and performer whose work has focused on the traditional culture and history of Indiana and New England. A graduate of Indiana University’s Folklore Institute, he conducted fieldwork on traditional music, storytelling, occupational folklore, and community life and served as state folklorist and director of the Folk Arts Program at the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Bustin has produced documentary films and recordings, written plays and essays, and performed programs combining traditional music, stories, and oral history. He later served as artistic director of Hibernian Hall in Boston.
