Cal and Victoria Lewin

Writer/producer Victoria Lewin and writer/director/cameraperson Cal Lewin have been making films together since getting married in 1982. Their films have earned recognition at film festivals from New York to Washington DC, Milan, Japan, etc. and have been supported by NEH.  Victoria was host of an award-winning public radio series about rural Alaska Native people for eight years.  Cal founded the classical music concerts at Cascadia Art Museum in Seattle, composes classical music and has authored a novel. In addition to documentaries, their livelihood has been in commercial filmmaking through their production company Opticus Films.
