Michal Goldman

Michal Goldman has worked as an editor and producer for over 30 years. Her credits include editing feature film and documentaries, and producing/directing documentaries about labor unions, klezmer music, and Umm Kulthum, one of the greatest proponents of Arabic song. Her work has won the Academy Award and the Golden Plaque: Documentary - History/Biography (Chicago Film Festival). She was the recipient of the first Promoting Tolerance Award from the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee. She founded the Boston Jewish Film Festival in 1989, and is president of Filmmakers Collaborative. She has recently completed Epiphany in Progress and is in production on At Home in Utopia.
