Max Kalmanowicz |
Max Kalmanowicz is an American filmmaker, producer, cameraman, and sound recordist. Early in his career he co-produced with Sandra Sutton Sitting On Top of the World at the Fiddlers’ Convention (1974), a documentary portrait of the influential Union Grove fiddlers’ convention in North Carolina and the traditional and revival musicians and dancers who gathered there. Kalmanowicz later worked extensively in film production and sound and directed the feature films The Children (1980) and Dreams Come True (1984).
