Scott Kecken |
Scott Kecken is an award-winning filmmaker, writer, producer, cinematographer, editor, and educator. With Joy Lusco Kecken, he founded the production company The Film Foundry in 1997. He co-directed, photographed, and edited We Are Arabbers, an intimate documentary about Baltimore’s horse-and-wagon produce vendors and their struggle to preserve a distinctive African American tradition. His other credits include the award-winning shorts Louisville and Woman Hollering Creek, as well as co-directing an episode of HBO’s The Wire. Kecken has also taught filmmaking at several colleges and universities.
