Filmmakers

Andrew Storrs is an independent filmmaker and cinematographer whose work is rooted in an observational, cinéma-vérité approach to documentary filmmaking. His films include India Is Great (2016) and Sugar House (2018), a detailed portrait of a New England family making maple syrup by traditional methods. Storrs produced, photographed, recorded sound, and edited Sugar House, which was made with support from the Jack & Dorothy Byrne Foundation. He has also directed and photographed music films, including Drugdealer’s “The End of Comedy,” featuring Weyes Blood and Mac DeMarco, and was a cinematographer on Ben Chace’s feature documentary Music Pictures: New Orleans (2022), which premiered at the Tribeca Festival.
