About the Film
“River, Rails or Road” reflects singer-songwriter Tom Breiding’s admiration for his home state of West Virginia, his respect for the triumphs, hardships and dedication of the labor movement, and for the lives of those whose work has helped to produce the energy that has powered this nation’s progress and expansion for more than two centuries.
The music video appended to "River, Rails, or Road" was produced by friends of Tom Breiding, with Phil Smith as producer, Gary DeMoss as cinematographer, and Rob Shire and Michael T. Coleman handling audio.
