Shrinkage.1

What does a film with shrinkage look like?

Bob Brodsky shows us what a shrunken roll of 16mm on a core looks like. He uses a splicing bar with pins to demo the shrinking. Film like this can be salvaged with an optical step printer which re-photographs the images frame by frame on to a new piece of film.
