Splicing broken 8-mm with press tape and splice block
How do I splice broken 8mm film?
Demonstration of repair of broken 8mm film using an inexpensive 16mm splicing block and press tape. Also shows how to do the same splice on a regular 8mm Hudson splicer. Note that the tape must be spliced on both sides of the film. Otherwise, the splice can come apart easily.
