Jack Ofield

JACK OFIELD is an award-winning animator, filmmaker and graphic designer. He transitioned from writing and directing plays to a film career at the National Film Board of Canada. He was a series writer-director for ABC and CBS, and produced many programs and series for PBS. His short film showcase, "The Short List," ran for 16 years on public and cable TV throughout North America, concluding its record run in 2010. He is Emeritus Professor of Film and Filmmaker in Residence at San Diego State University, a member of the Directors Guild of America and a Directing Fellow of the American Film Institute.
