Deborah Wallwork

Deb Wallwork is an artist and filmmaker best known for her documentaries about Native culture, made in affiliation with Prairie Public TV and the Red River Indian Association. Her work has been broadcast widely on public television, and shown in film festivals across the country, including, most recently, at the Watker Art Center’s Women with Vision festival. Deb has an MFA from the School of the Art Institute. She is the recipient of awards including Independent Lens Grand Prize for short film, a Cine Golden Eagle, and a Best Documentary Feature from the American Indian Film Festival. Deb received her MFA in film from the School of the Art Institute. She currently lives in Minneapolis, and is working on a short documentary about trash fashion.
