Warriors (1987)

About the Film

Warriors explores the experience of the Native Americans who fought in America's most controversial war- the Vietnam-era conflict. Humorous and unflinching, this program shows us contemporary Native people, caught in the cross currents of American history, and finding, in their traditional beliefs the key to understanding and moving forward.

Warriors was chosen to be screened at the Margaret Mead Film at the Museum of Natural History in NYC. It has an Award of Recognition from the National Indian Education Association and Best Documentary Feature at the American Indian Film Festival XIII in San Francisco.
